I love having extra time in the summer to try out new recipes! I saw this pin for Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Bars, and thought I would give it a whirl in honor of National Blueberry Month!

So, I decided I needed to try to make this gluten free. I replaced the flour with Pamela's Gluten Free Flour Blend. I gathered up all the ingredients, which got Emmitt's interest. He knows what happens when I cook...stuff ends up on the floor.
He was ready and waiting...

It looked and smelled so good, I was practically drooling too! The hardest part of this recipe is that it has to come to room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before you can eat it!
I love this idea to make a cake out of Rice Krispie treats!

I've always loved Rice Krispie treats but appreciate them even more now since they are gluten free. They are a little dangerous though, because you can just keep eating them without feeling full! This pin is from Kara's Party Ideas, and she has tons of tips for making your 4th of July party special.
Last but not least, this pin represents something I love to do every summer, shop at IKEA!

I always get the book boxes for my students, though we actually use them for all their folders and notebooks, but the teachers at Primary Possibilities have all kinds of suggestions for things you can pick up at IKEA to use in your classroom. Check it out before you head back to school!
